Actor Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated film was titled as “Valimai”. The film which s going to be directed by H.Vinoth who did his last venture “Nerkonda Paarvai” is going to direct his 60th film as well. The director is known for his unique and detailed scripts and this upcoming film of the actor is rumoured to be a Cop thriller according to sources.

The film is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, producer of “Nerkonda Paarvai”. Generally actors would be very much interested in taking up roles in a high profile movie such as “Valimai”. Now to our surprise, Arvind Swamy. one of the many experienced actors of Kollywood industry has turned down a role offered to him in “Valimai”.

Going by the reoprts, Arvind Swamy refused to act in “Valimai” due to his commitments in the upcoming biographical movie of late chief minister J.Jayalalitha. In the film which was titled as “Thalaivi” has Aravind Swamy in the role of legendary actor and former chief minister M.G. Ramachandran. First look of “Thalaivi” released lately and is making waves in social media platforms.

Aravind Swamy who had a wonderful acting career in mid 90’s took a long break and amde his come back through Mohan Raja’s “Thani Oruvan”, The actor played the role of an antagonist named as “Siddharth Abimanyu” and got appreciated by both audience and critics. After that he started signing many more films as lead and as antagonist. In the film “Thalaivi”, Aravind Swamy went through a major change in his looks, picture of which went viral in social media platforms.

As far as Valimai is concerned, the film is set to go on floors on the first week of december. Actor Ajithkumar who is going to be seen as cop after Yennai Arindhaal is also doing dual role in the film according to the reports. Nayanthara who acted with Ajithkumar in many films since Billa, is going to feature the female lead but the official confirmation about the same is awaited.

The technical crew of the film comprises of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematographer Nirav Shah. More details regarding the cast and crew are being finalised now. Meanwhile the look of the lead actor for one of the two roles in the film was leaked online recently.
