Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock who rose to fame across the world through his wrestling stint, is currently busy acting in movies. The 48 year old who debuted through the 2002 flick, acted in 50 more films as lead actor. The Wrestler cum actor who is also pretty much active in social media platforms with nearly 30 crore followers across all the social media platforms, uploaded a post saying that he ripped off his house’s main gate with bare hands as he was getting late for shoot. This post from him raised lot of questions among his followers.

Rock says that he experienced a power outage due to severe storms which left his front gate closed. When he tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, it didn’t work. When he made calls to the gate technicians, they said that it would take at least 45 minutes to reach Rock’s house.

But Rock who was supposed to be in a shooting spot where hundreds of crew members are waiting for him to start the day, had to find alternate solution. “So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass.” he wrote in his post.

“My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, “in disbelief and equally scared” as to how I ripped it off. Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work.” he added. The actor finally reached the spot of “Black Adam” to be “Black Adam”.

While many people amused by this alleged heroic stunt of the Rock, few questioned why wouldn’t he just jumped over the gate to reach the shooting spot. Many who didn’t believe Rock’s narration, demanded the CCTV footage of the incident by saying that he would definitely have a CCTV camera pointed at his main gate.

Replying to these comments, Rock said that jumping over and calling an Uber wouldn’t be fun. “Maybe next time I’ll just hop the gates and call an Uber. Actually, no I won’t. There’s no fun in that “ the actor said.

Well here’s the destruction 🤦🏽‍♂️ I left behind after ripping my gates off and going to work. This footage was taken from my security after I had already left and he arrived on the scene. The second video is of our technicians and welders carrying one of the gates I tore off and placing it very gently in the grass. As you guys know from my last post, there was a power outage at my house, causing my gates to not open. Sure as hell wasn’t my best hour, but there were a lot of people waiting for me at work so I did what I had to do, hopped in my pick up and went to work. Maybe next time I’ll just hop the gates and call an Uber. Actually, no I won’t. There’s no fun in that 😈 Jokes aside, THANK YOU to the techs and welders who mobilized very quickly in the morning to come over and take care of the destruction. Thank you, gentlemen.
