A compilation video of filmmakers speaking high of Kamal Haasan and about his ability of bringing tears without any preparation such as applying Glycerine is trending in social media platforms. Lokesh Kanagaraj who recently directed Kamal Haasan in “Vikram”, heaped praise on the legendary actor about how he brought tears within the said timing.

Fans who watched the video, started collecting the videos of other filmmakers such as Bharathi Raja, Saran making similar statements about Kamal Haasan. “People might think it is exaggeration. There is a scene in the film where I wanted sir to lean on a chair and feel emotional” Lokesh Kanagaraj started explaining about how good Kamal Haasan was on emotional scene.

“After completing the shot, I was still reluctant and asked Sir to shed a droplet of tear as I was planning to go to the next scene from that shot. Kamal sir asked me at what time the tear needs to drop and I wanted it to happen on the third second. While going for the shot, exactly a the third second, a tear drop rolled down from his eyes” Lokesh Kanagaraj said in the interview.

On seeing the filmmaker’s statement, fans started collecting the videos of other filmmakers who made similar statements about Kamal Haasan. Talking about the last shot in “16 Vayathinile”, in an event conducted by ” Black sheep” team, director Bharathi Raja said that he wanted Kamal to drop tear only during a particular moment and the actor did it with perfection.

Director Saran who worked with Kamal Haasan in “Vasool Raja MBBS”, in an interview, said Kamal sir doesn’t need glycerin. He could drop tears if we switch a button. He would even drop the water from eyes during a particular dialogue that we demand. He will be conscious about not letting the drop fall, keep it in the eyes safe, dropping it at the right time by moving a nerve. He know about all these things while acting in an emotional scene” Saran said in an interview.

Vikram is scheduled to release on 3rd of June with much expectations. The film which was bankrolled by Rajkamal International films of Kamal Haasan himself, has Fahad Fasil, Vinay Sethupathi, Naren, Suriya in the supporting roles. The film is going to be an out and out action entertainer, said Lokesh Kanagaraj in an interview and part 3 of Vikram is on cards as well.
