During the evening of Wednesday, director Pradeep Ranganathan came up with a tweet in his official Twitter handle, responding to the circulation of his alleged old Facebook posts and tweets. The young an emerging filmmaker said that they were photoshopped and thanked the people who are trying to defame him as he got to know how much love he has been receiving after the posts went viral. Pradeep also accepted few posts are real and said that he growing with age.

Pradeep Ranganathan, after making a number of short films, debuted as filmmaker through “Comali” and gained widespread fame after making his debut as an actor in “Love Today” which is running successfully in theatres. While the filmmaker is basking In success, internet started digging the filmmaker’s old posts and tweets in order to know about him more. In one of the posts which was allegedly uploaded by Pradeep, he could be seen degrading Yuvan Shankar Raja with whom he collaborated in “Love Today”. Another post showed him trolling Dhoni, former Indian cricket team captain.

As a result, the young filmmaker deactivated his handle but it didn’t stop there as memes started flooding the online platforms, trolling him. However, on the other hand, a set of tweets where the filmmaker kept tagging renowned celebrities to watch his short films are also resurfacing in the online platforms.

On seeing the alleged old posts under his name going viral in internet, Pradeep came up with a tweet in his official Twitter handle in a way of clearing the air. “A lot of posts that has been circulating has been photoshopped.The facebook account has been deactivated as even changing one word ,changes a lot of things. Im not angry on the people trying to change things, instead I thank them for showing me how much people support me” read the filmmaker’a tweet.
