“Cooku with Comali” fame Dharaha Gupta denied Sathish’s clarification on the incident that took place during the audio launch event of “Oh My Ghost”. The young and emerging actress said that she never asked Sathish to talk that way and she was indeed hurt by his words but didn’t show it at that time. Her reply is being widely shared by her fans and followers.

After his speech became a subject to controversy, Sathish came up with a clarification video saying that Dharsha Gupta was the one who asked him to talk that way on stage. He released the video after receiving widespread criticism across Tamil internet users including singer Chinmayi, Director Naveen, Doctor cum actress Sharmila, Singer Srinivas.

“Dharsha Gupta said to me that she wore a modern dress competing Sunny Leone and was eagerly waiting to see what she was going to be wearing. After seeing her wearing a half saree, she got upset and expressed it to me. When I said it’s a good point, she asked me to tell it in the stage, only after she said it to me, I shared the same on the stage” Sathish said in the clarification video.

The actor seemingly called singer Chinmayi personally and clarified on the same as s result of which the me too activist uploaded a tweet referring to their conversation.

Actor Satish happened to call and say that he really didn’t intend for it to come across like that. Looks like he has also released a video.

However, Dharsha Gupta, through a reply tweet, had expressed her denial to Sathish’s statement. Terming Sathish’s clarification as “strange”, Dharsha asked “would anyone ask others to talk in a bad way in stage? It did hurt me but I didn’t expose my emotions much but talking in this way is not good’ she said.

“Sathish is this good way to turn on me, that I asked u to tell like this in stage? It’s very strange. Yaaravathu enna pathi, stage neenga asingama pesunganu solluvangala?? Enakum annaiku avlo hurt uh tha irunthuchu, but na atha perusa kaatikala. But ipo ipadi solrathu, not good” read her reply.

For the uninitiated, , a particular clip from “Oh My Ghost” audio launch that shows actor Sathish making a gross comment on “Cooku with Comali” fame Dharsha Gupta’s clothes made many users of online platforms to express their displeasure. The actor was heard saying that Sunny Leone who comes from Bollywood was wearing ethnic attire but Dharsha Gupta from Coimbatore is dressed in another way.

“Sunny Leone came from Bombay for us, for the people of Tamilnadu. You have seen how she dressed. A girl from Coimbatore has also made her presence, named Dharsha Gupta. I just said to mention how Sunny dressed considering our culture” said Sathish and went on to add “I know you will talk a lot, I will talk to you later” to Dharsha who confronted him.
