This is KIT Bhubaneswar, ranked ~42 among engineering colleges in India, where parents pay approx 17.5 lakhs to get their child an engineering degree. This is the food being served at the college hostel.
Then we wonder why students from India migrate to other countries for… pic.twitter.com/QmPaz4mD82

So, the authorities decided to deduct one day's payment from the mess service provider as a solution to this issue. 🥲 https://t.co/HbY6jZAIIp

The college’s response to the incident was met with criticism as well. The institution decided to deduct one day’s payment for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the food supplier company as a form of damage control. This action was met with disdain from many who felt that such a response was inadequate and failed to address the gravity of the situation.
What?
They just deducted one day payment 🙄.So, basically they don't care about the health of their students niether cares for their own institute's reputation.
This should reach the higher authorities – they will only take strict action against this.
This is unacceptable.

They indicated that a formal complaint had been filed, and actions were expected to be taken against the hostel and those responsible.
This is like asking mess provider to write, I will never repeat this next time!

One user commented that all parties involved should be sued, and their licenses should be suspended. Aaraynsh, the original poster, responded, expressing disappointment in the college’s response, emphasizing the importance of valuing human life over monetary compensation.
How casual approach the college authorities having? Deducting one day's payment of the caterer/ contractor solves all the problems. Will the students and their parents be happy with this type of punishment for such a mistake?

It's simple solution is tit for tat policy..serve the same frogy food to the director and their family.. Then see what happens. There's no empathy left with high positions and rich class people. They have no fear. Just try this policy and see the results. pic.twitter.com/jNU1p8mier
