Deepika Padukone joined the list of celebrities who are creating awareness for the deadly Coronavirus. She posted a video of washing her hands by wearing mask in her home, in a way of completing the challenge of Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, General Director of World Health Organisation. He asked Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Arnold Schwarzenneger, Christy turlington to take the safe hands challenge through the micro blogging social media site.

Replying to this tweet, Deepika Padukone one of the prominent actresses of Indian film industry posted a video of herself washing hands by wearing a safety mask. She wrote “Thank You @DrTedros, for nominating me for the #SafeHands Challenge! COVID19 surely is an uphill health and public safety task, but all of us are in this fight together!” while sharing the video and nominated Virat Kohli, Roger Federer and Cristiano Ronaldo to take the challenge to create awareness worldwide.

Celebrities across the word are creating awareness for people to get quarantined as the virus is spreading widely. So far, more than 8,000 death cases were reported world wide and the Government of Tamilnadu has announced a shut down till March 31 for theatres, malls, amusement parks, zoos, museums and to every other place which requires public gatherings.
