Andreane Nouyrigat, originally from France, spent her formative years in Pondicherry, India, starting from the age of six. After completing her schooling, she returned to France for higher education and pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian nurse. However, her passion for the film industry led her back to India. In 2000, she had a minor role as an extra in the telefilm “Le Passeur D’enfant,” which was set in Pondicherry. She further showcased her acting skills in French stage plays such as “La Jeune Fille, Le Diable Et Le Moulin” in 2001, produced by Olivier Py, and “Sketches” in 2004, directed by Jean-Philippe Ribes. Additionally, Andreane appeared as an extra in the song “Athiradee” in Shankar’s blockbuster Tamil film “Sivaji” (2007), featuring Rajinikanth and Shriya Saran.

After completing her studies, Andreane ventured into modeling for various Indian companies, including Shelton Shirts, DVY photoshoot, Kumaran Silks Online, Vijaya Ganapathy Stores, and Freshdesk. In 2014, she also walked the ramp for designer Chaitanya Rao. However, her true passion lay in acting, particularly in Tamil cinema. With her familiarity with the Tamil language, Andreane often dubbed her own lines in her films. She began her Tamil film journey with low-budget productions like “Kanden Kadhal Konden” and “Saalaiyoram” in 2013, but her first release was in C. V. Kumar’s “Enakkul Oruvan” (2015), where she portrayed a friend of the lead character played by Siddharth.

Andreane’s versatility shone through as she embraced diverse roles in her subsequent films. She played a ghost in the horror film “Zero” (2016), the comedic lead opposite Soori in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer “Rajini Murugan” (2016), and a Russian woman in “Rum” (2017). In 2018, Andreane achieved a milestone by landing her first lead role in the comedy film “Melnaattu Marumagan,” where she starred alongside Rajkamal. In the movie, she portrayed a French foreigner and showcased her language skills by dubbing her own lines in Tamil.
