College girl on Chennai took an extreme decision after trading online. The tragic death of Mahalakshmi, a 19-year-old college student in Chennai, has raised concerns over the dangers of online trading and the impact it can have on vulnerable individuals. With financial struggles at home, Mahalakshmi saw an advertisement on Instagram for online trading that promised to double profits within 15 to 20 minutes. Eager to try and improve her family’s financial situation, Mahalakshmi invested Rs. 30,000 in the business.

Initially, Mahalakshmi seemed to be successful in her trading endeavors, winning up to Rs. 60,000 in just one night. However, things took a dark turn when she tried to sell her profits online and discovered that all the stocks she had bought were fake. This realization left Mahalakshmi devastated, and she confided in her mother about what had happened. Unfortunately, instead of providing comfort and support, Mahalakshmi’s mother scolded her, adding to the already existing sense of hopelessness and despair.

Feeling helpless and alone, Mahalakshmi took the drastic step of hanging herself from the fan in her room using her mother’s saree. Her mother was shocked to discover her daughter’s lifeless body the following morning and immediately informed the police.
