Ajay Gnanamuthu of “Demonte Colony” and “Imaikka Nodigal” fame, recently, in his official twitter account, announced that the production of his upcoming film with Vikram got completed. Titled as “Cobra”, the film’s production started during 2019 and it took nearly 3 long years for the completion. After Ajay announced that the film’s shooting got wrapped, veteran producer T.Siva condemned him for dragging the shoot for three years and questioned him for not even expressing his gratitude towards Cobra’s producer Lalith.

First look of “Cobra” got released during February 2020 but the filmmaker couldn’t complete the soon as per his plan due to the COVID 19 virus intervention. He was forced to leave Russia in midway of shoot and expressed his frustration through a tweet as well. On 15th of February, Ajay came up with a tweet in his official twitter handle, uploading the pictures of his film crew, announcing about the wrap of the film’s shooting.

Among the various kind of reactions that his tweet garnered, A twitter used named “Naganathan” with 44k followers condemned Ajay for not mentioning his producer in his gratitude tweet.

Replying to Naganathan, Veteran Tamil film producer T.Siva dropped a tweet saying that he severely condemns the filmmaker for dragging the budget several times more than what was planned and for not even mentioning his producer in the “wrap” tweet.

The filmmaker immediately reacted to Siva’s accusation saying that he is not responsible for the delay of shoot and he can prove it with proofs. He also said that the term “team” includes the producer as well. “With due respect sir!! I can prove that I’m not the reason for budget over shoot of cobra whenever and wherever I’m asked to!! Proofs will speak louder and clearer than rumours!! And by “team” it also includes my producer. I’m always not letting him down! Cheers sir” reply of Ajay read.

However, Siva insisted on Ajay mentioning the producer as he had mentioned Chiyaan separately. “It was not intentional sir!! I always hold my production and producer in high regards.. Always!!” Ajay replied back.

Meanwhile, fans are requesting Ajay to do a theatrical release for “Cobra” as Vikram’s last film “Mahaan” released directly on OTT. As the film’s shoot got completely, it is expected to be released real soon. Trailer of “Cobra” promised a gripping psychological thrilled with Vikram appearing in several getups.
