An emotional selfie video of a cleaning staff who seeked some appreciation from public, made director SJ Surya and others to encourage him. Youth who work as cleaning staff says that he has been seeing appreciation posts for Doctors, Nurses and police officers. He asked that people from his department are also deserves such appreciation. “I purely understand that they deserves such appreciation but we are also working on day and night during every outbreak that takes place in our society” he worries in the video.

This video was being widely shared by the users of micro blogging social media site. Many lauded the efforts of the cleaning staffs as soon as the video surfaced. The deadly coronavirus killed more than 24,000 people across the world as of today. State Tamilandu saw its first death on the wee hours of March 25. The 54 year old man who tested positive on 23rd of March was undergoing treatment at Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai, died. Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar posted about it in his official twitter account at 2.02 a.m.
