Chiyaan Vikram expressed his regret over his fans who came to see him at airport getting beaten by the airport securities. The actor said that he was informed about the unfortunate incident and registered his remorse over the incident. He went on to express his emotions over the amount of love poured by his fans at Trichy today.

Earlier today, a video that showed an Airport guard kicking the fans of actor Vikram has created outrage in social media platforms. Online users who saw the video has been questioning the official on who gave him the rights to hurt public. In the meantime, many blamed the fans who got hurt while trying to see an actor in person.

“Cobra” of actor Chiyaan Vikram is gearing up for it’s release and the promotions for the film has started by the crew. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film stars Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi and K. S. Ravikumar along with Vikram. The film is expected to hit the screens on 31st of August and the promotions are going on in full swing.

As a part of the film’s promotion, Vikram, along with the film crew landed in Trichy on Tuesday and the excited fans gathered in large numbers at the airport to welcome him. To control the crowd, the Central Industrial Security Force personnel deployed for security at the airport, chased them away.

In the videos that are doing rounds, some CISF officials were seen pushing away the fans where one of them can even be seen kicking a number of fans who were waiting to witness the actor. When the actor walked out of the airport, fans were seen cheering with whistles and chanting. They were also seen capturing videos and pictures of their favourite hero.

The actor visited St Joseph College at Trichy around 11 AM to promote his film and is expected to visit American college in Madurai at 5 PM. In the meantime, the video that shows a CISF personnel kicking fans, has created huge outrage among the online users who were demanding legal action against him. Fans even tagged Chiyaan Vikram and asked him to see what happened to his fans.

Reacting to all such reactions, the actor came up with a tweet saying “Thanks to my fans who soaked me in love during my visit to Trichy for the promotions of Cobra. At the same time, it came to m attention that some unfortunate incident had took place. I register my regret for such incident which caused discomfort. I don’t know what i did to deserve such fans” through his tweets.

Fans expressed their love towards Vikram for addressing the issue and register his regret instead of turning blind eye like other top tier heroes. On the work front, Vikram is expected to be seen in “Ponniyin Selvan” of Mani rathnam post “Cobra”.
