Oviyaa who gained Army pages for herself through her Bigg Boss stint, stunned her fans and followers through her recent quarantine photoshoot in which she appeared with a brassiere. The series of pictures went extremely viral that it grabbed the attention of popular movie journalists of Valaipechu Youtube channel. They criticized the actress for the way she posed and mocked her choice of clothes in their video.

“She was posing by just wearing her inner wear in those pictures. Oviya Army is responsible for these kind of activities of her”said Bismi one of the journalist to which Anthanthan responded by trolling the actress. “The photographer would have captured her without her knowledge when she is chilling herself with short clothes in this summer” he said. “They will term it as freedom of an individual” replied Shakthi, their colleague.

These comments from those senior journalists irked the online fans of actress Oviyaa it seems. A twitter account named as “Oviya Army” chopped out that particular video clip from their 13 minute long video and posted it in the micro blogging social media platform by tagging singer Chinmayi, an active MeToo activist of South India. Oviya Army asked Chinmayi to comment her opinion on the video clipping which is trending on Internet. “mam have you seen this ! He’s saying some cheap trash on a women about her dressing , between he’s on media and this video is trending. Do girls own their rights or not ? Do you have any opinion on this ?”

Reacting to the video clip, Chinmayi said that three men who belongs to Valaipechu youtube channel are known to be toxic. She said that they are known for their sexist comments against women for a very long time. “Their audiences are like them and they play to that gallery. They wont change and they don’t care either.” the singer wrote in her reply tweet.

Followers of the singer slammed those men severely for their comments against the “Kalavani” actress. “You can’t expect sanity, honesty, modesty and equality from third rated stooges who mint money by unleashing lies about others.” wrote one of a twitter user whereas another one demanded jail sentence for them for their comment. There is nothing to be surprised or shocked on seeing Oviyaa posing for photographs that way as she is a model by profession. It is high time for people to stop judging women based on their clothes, that too in a public medium which has potential to influence young minds who are watching their videos.
