During Cheran’s stint in Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, Director Parthiban was very much busy in promoting his movie Oththa Seruppu 7. In one of his promotional interview, Parthiban was asked to share some of his views about Cheran with whom he worked in previous occasions.

Parthiban while talking about Cheran, said that he is a sincere worker who is true to his profession. Further he added that there are few things he dislike in Cheran’s character. “He never cared about hurting the feelings of others. In an audio launch of a movie, he said that the director made his movie similar to my style to mention that it is a “crap”. I see it as a special character of him” said Parthiban in that interview.

Cheran, after coming out of Bigg Boss house, saw Parthiban’s “Oththa Seruppu” movie and lauded it in his own way. He wished the film to be a huge success and said that Parthiban deserves more than what he is getting now. He also said that he feels proud of starting his career with him.

Cheran, in a way of giving clarification to this, said that Parthiban might have understood what he said. “I don’t know about what movie I said like it. If I said so, that movie could not be a crap one. It must be a double meaning statement” said Cheran in his reply tweet.

This conversation caught the attention of Parthiban himself who immediately replied by saying that he said it in his Assistant director Ramakrishnan’s movie “Pongadee Neengalum Unga Kadhalum” audio launch. “I worried very much on seeing that speech of your’s. It stayed in me as a humiliation and expressed it.” said Parthiban.

Cheran replied to Parthiban with an apologize and said that he astonished with the works of Parthiban. “I only said that the movie has your style. After watching Puthiya Paathai, Kudaikul Mazhai, Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam, Houseful, I appreicated you with my whole heart” wrote Cheran.
