It seems like MeToo accusations started taking place in every industries. As an extreme embarrassment for the Tamil Nadu police, a female cop accused his male colleague of sexual harassment in the Trichy district.
She alleged that the accused violently forced himself on her and started kissing her. She allegedly had to push him away and leave the place.
Tamil Nadu police checked the CCTV footage and sources have claimed that it showed the two officers indulging in inappropriate behaviour. The accused male cop was suspended later for the misconduct.
The incident seems to have two different versions. The accused who has been identified as special sub inspector Bal Subramaniam (50) said that the act was consensual.
Incidentally, some of the antics of the Sub-Inspector were recorded in the CCTV installed within the police station. The cameras had captured the sub-inspector kissing his colleague.

Once the allegations were proven with the help of CCTV footage, the officials ordered his immediate suspension.
His plead that he had previously been having good relations with the lady colleague and that they had a relationship cut no ice with the superior officials. But, for the present, they have not rejected his submission but began inquiring into his side of the story as well with other colleagues and friends of the two police personnel.
Coming in the wake of Me Too campaign, the police officials did not take the complaint of the lady constable lightly and came down with an immediate suspension.
