Vijay Sethupathi, one of the very few actors who is not very active on social media, yesterday posted three back to back posts in Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The post is not about his upcoming projects or any updates about his upcoming film but clarifying about a fake news that’s been doing rounds.

In his post the actor wrote “என் அன்பிற்குரிய மக்களுக்கு
பகவத்கீதை மட்டுமல்ல எந்த ஒரு புனிதநூலை பற்றியும் எப்பொழுதும் நான் அவதூறாக பேசியதும் இல்லை
பேசவும் மாட்டேன்
சில சமூகவிரோதிகள் பரப்பிய அவதூறான செய்தி இது
எந்த சூழ்நிலையிலும் என் மக்களின் நம்பிக்கையும் ஒற்றுமையும் குலைக்குமாறு நான் நடந்து கொள்ளவே மாட்டேன்” (To My Beloved People, Not Only About Bhagavat Geetha, I Would Never Talk Ill About Any Sacred Book.  Some Ant-Social people spread this rumour. In any situation I would never behave in a way of destroying people’s belief and unity)

He posted the same in his Facebook page and Instagram Story. The actor who is receiving so much love from the people of Tamilnadu in a short span of career time, is considered as one of the most versatile actor as well. The 41 year old actor has recently released his 25th film Seethakathi.

On the work front Vijay Sethupathi is currently acting in a film named “Maamanithan” directed by Seenu Ramasamy.

Vijay Sethupathi, who recently completed the shooting of Sindhubaadh, has signed his next, a sports drama, in which he will be seen as a volleyball player.This untitled project is helmed by Prabhu, a former assistant of Su Arunkumar of Sindhubaadh-fame. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, this film is expected to go on floors after April.

The Petta actor had also announced he would collaborate with debutant director Delhi Prasad Deenadayal at the 100th-day celebrations of 96. Touted to be a political satire, this film, produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, will have drama, action and fantasy elements. Apparently, Delhi Prasad Deenadayal had assisted Balaji Tharaneetharan, who will pen dialogues for this film.
