Thalapathy 63 is an upcoming 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports film written and directed by Atlee and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. The film has music composed by A. R. Rahman.

Earlier a news about the protagonist’s  character name in the film did rounds in social media. It is said that Vijay’s character in the film is named Michael. However, the production house has not made any official comment on the rumour. The movie is  said to be a sport drama and it is believed Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan to do a guest role in the movie.

Jackie Shroff, who made in Kollywood debut in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Aaranya Kaandam, has worked in Tamil movies like Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan, Maayavan and working in a few films. There are lots of reports which claim that Jackie Shroff is playing the role of a villain in Thalapathy 63. However, there is no official word about it, yet.

While everything is going in a right pace, Now to our shock, an awkward news about the film and it’s crew going viral in  social media websites. According to News18 Tamil, a lady junior artist has made a complaint in Police station against the movie’s director Atlee and his assistants.

The film’s shoot is currently being held in EVP film city. Junior artist Krishna Devi alleged that Atlee and his assistant directors has abused her while working. She also reported that they sent her out before finishing her job.

Further she added that the food being provided for Junior artists in the movie #Thalapthy63 is unhygienic. According to Samayam.com Krishna Devi in her complaint said “They got irked when I raised question against the unhygienic food for Junior artists. There are no basic facilities for Junior artists in the sets of Thalapthy63 and the makers are behaving very rude to them”

She also asked Police officers to take legal action against Atlee and his assistants.

Other than Vijay, Nayanthara to be part of the film. Atlee has retained most of the crew members of Mersal for the upcoming film. Daniel Balaji, Yogi Babu and Kathir are playing supporting roles in Thalapathy 63. Produced by AGS Entertainments, this flick is expected to hit the theatres towards the end of the year.
