Tamizh Padam 2 which has hit the theatres yesterday and have garnered positive reviews from critics and viewers, leaked on the notorious piracy site TamilRockers. In a shocking announcement, the makers of the film had announced in the first look of the poster that the film would be available for the free download on the torrent site on the day of its release. Even after the film industry across the world has put all their efforts to curb piracy, just the hours after Tamizh Padam 2 release, the film was leaked online in different qualities for free download.

More than any other Tamil film, it is Siva’s spoof Tamizh Padam 2 that is the most-awaited one of all.

The second part of the first spoof movie of Tamil cinema is all set to make fun of the cliches of K-Town and Tamil Nadu. Now, the film is released.

The trailer and teasers suggest that this time, the film has not spared politicians either. From films of Superstar Rajinikanth to Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo, the film takes a dig at everything that’s popular in Tamil Nadu.

Starring Siva, Disha Pandey, Iswarya Menon and Sathish, Tamizh Padam 2 is produced by S Sashikanth of Y NOT Studios, which also bankrolled the hit film Vikram Vedha.

Apart from movies that acted as prey for this “parody” there are lot of “political” moments that are brutally trolled.

Kollywood Town’s top reviewers released their video as expected. Tamil Talkies reviewer Maran, more popularly known as ‘Blue Sattai’ because of the blue shirt he always wears in his videos, has come under attack for his review of Vivegam.

He started his review by saying that the film has fulfilled its expectation only in a minimum level. “As the film went in a good pace at the beginning, it doesn’t go that way the whole movie due the presence of Comedian Sathish” he said. “I’m visiting every week to see if the comedian could make me laugh, but it doesn’t happening. He himself not so fond of acting , we don’t know why the Kollywood directors are casting him” he added.

“And I don’t know what to say about the song in which Actress Kasthuri comes as an item dancer. I think they figured there will be no need of story for a spoof film as there was a huge lag in second half and the story was not plotted well but we should appreciate the director and hero for the guts they had to make a film like this which trolls even the ruling party” he said in his 5 minute video review.
