Tamil nadu BJP member Gayathri, on seeing the election results in the 5 states in North, came up with a tweet saying that Tamil nadu will get direct benefits only if people of Tamil Nadu vote for BJP. She also made sure that BJP will win in the upcoming 2024 election in Tamil Nadu. However, her tweet became a subject to trolls and criticisms.

Even as counting of votes continues in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is on it’s course to retain power in the politically crucial state with Yogi Adithyanath set to become chief minister for a second straight term. The saffron party is set to register historic win in Uttar Pradesh as it is leading 260 seats in the state. Aam Aadmi party is set to sweep in Punjab.

In Uttarakhand, BJP has taken a lead in over 40 seats and in Goa also BJP leading Congress. In the northeastern state of Manipur, BJP has taken a lead in over 20 seats.

The five states voted for nearly a month for a total of 690 seats with the maximum in Uttar Pradesh (403 seats) followed by Punjab (117 seats), Uttarakhand (70), Manipur (60) and Goa (40). Congress is struggling in all the five states and has not managed to grab a lead in any.

Meanwhile, choreographer cum actress and Politician Gayathri Raguramm, after seeing the election results, came up with a tweet saying that Tamil nadu will get direct benefits only if they vote for BJ lP party. She also expressed her belief over the Modi-led party to rule Tamil nadu from 2024 assembly elections.

“Only if Tamil Nadu people vote for BJP, they will get direct benefits. If not, brokers (local parties) will stop all the good deeds that Tamil people would get. This is the moral of the story. BJP will come to power in Tamil Nadu from 2024” She said in her tweet.
