On Friday, Congress leader Rahul Gaandhi said that his Bharat Jodo Yatra was an attempt to “Connect with people” and to undo the damage caused by BJP and RSS”. He kicked off day three of his Bharat Jodo Yatra on Friday morning from Scott Christian college in Tirunelveli. He reached Pudhucherry later that morning, where he interacted with a group of farmers.

In the meantime, official twitter handle of BJP party came up with a tweet mocking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for wearing a shirt that worth Rs. 41,257. Through the tweet, BJP shared a picture of Rahul Gandhi donning a T-shirt and included the cost of the T-shirt through another picture.

The tweet claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s T-shirt worth Rs. 41,257. “Bharat, dekho!” read the caption of BJP’s twitter handle.

Among all the reactions, the official twitter handle of Congress itself came up with a reply that said ““Hey… are you scared? (After) seeing the crowd gathered in ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra. Talk about the issue… Speak on unemployment and inflation. If we have to discuss clothes, then Modi ji’s suit that costs Rs10 lakh and glasses that cost Rs1.5 lakh will also be talked about,”
