Tamil nadu BJP leader K. Annamalai, on the evening of the result day, came up with a tweet in his official twitter handle, expressing his gratitude towards BJP cadres and leaders for the victories his party registered in the state. Terming it as an “unprecedented victory”, Annamalai said that the result of today’s urban body elections show public the love Tamil people have for the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Annamalai also declared that BJP officially has became the third largest party of TTamil nadu after ADMK and DMK through his tweet. Thanking all the hardworking cadres of the party, Annamalai also thanked the leaders for inspiring him. “The unprecedented victory for BJP amil nadu in today’s urban local body elections show us the love Tamil makkal have for our Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi. We dedicate our people’s love to him! Sincerely thank our BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda for his guidance!” Annamalai said in his tweet.

“BJP today has won in areas where we haven’t had a public representative before. We are officially the 3rd largest party after DMK & AIADMK in TN. Sincerely thank our brave & hardworking Karyakarta’s for their ground work and all of our leaders for their inspiration” he added.

Many trolled Annamalai for the way he is celebrating the victory of winning just in 307 places among a total 12853. Netizens questioned that Annamalai is self trolling his party by admitting that the love of Tamil people towards Narendra Modi is very small. They also questioned Annamalai’s declaration on BJP becoming the third largest party in Ttamil nadu.
