Kedar Jadhav surprised Pakistan batsmen with his different kind of action on Wednesday. He ended up picking three wickets and broke the back of the opposition line-up in the middle-overs. Jadhav’s figures in the previous match read 3/23 in nine overs which eventually helped Team India skittle Pakistan for 162. However, Congress’ social media head Divya Spandana tried to play politics over Jadhav’s slingy action after which BJP slammed her with a perfect response.

Kedar got injured during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and missed England tour. But on return, he has immediately stamped his authority with his bowling. He has a unique action and goes extremely low while delivering the ball which puts the batsmen in trouble more often than not. The same happened with the Men in Green as they never got hold of his bowling and lost their way.

While Pakistan were having a nightmarish outing in the middle Divya Spandana who is also an actor took a sly dig on the current BJP Government by giving Kedar Jadhav’s action. She compared his action with the value of Rupee currently which didn’t go down well with many. The fans were also disappointed with this as they lashed out at her but the savage response came from the BJP Karnataka’s Twitter handle.

As far India’s chase in the game is concerned, there were hopes that Pakistan’s bowlers will make amends. But even they were under-cooked and conceded 163 runs only in 29 overs losing the game eventually by eight wickets. Kedar Jadhav, however, was close to getting the Man of the Match award but Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was the deserved winner.
