Raju Jeyamohan of Bigg Boss fame asked apology to those who got irritated after watching a video of himself teaching different slangs of Tamil language to Bollywood Superstar Ranbhir Kapoor. In his post, Raju said that he became aware about the public agitation regarding the video and said that he did it for humour but regrets for how it transpired. He requested people not to get “irritated” and said “sorry” through his post.

Bollywood star Ranbhir Kapoor, director Rajamouli and Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna arrived at the sets of “Bigg Boss Jodigal” to promote the upcoming “Brahmmastra” movie. Raju and Priyanka hosted the show and the former came up with a concept of teaching Ranbhir Taamil language that varies in different districts of the state.

Before teaching him the slang of Chennai city, the aspiring actor and screen writer said the people of Chennai are always irritated as the city’s weather is always hot. After making the renowned star to speak Chennai slang, he made him try Madurai and Coimbatore slangs as well.

The video didn’t go well with a number of online users who immediately called out the Bigg Boss winner for portraying our city in a wrong way to people who come from other states. “Seriously, is this the way you convey our culture to someone?” a twitter user asked whereas another one said “Lol, what a way to promote TN.. Drunkard state ! Vijya TV hats off.. you guys do anything for business”

Reacting to such comments, Raju came up with a tweet in his official twitter handle that said “I read the criticisms that emerged against me related to a video in which I taught Chennai slang to Mr. Ranbhir kapoor. They said that I made derogatory remarks against Chennai people. I regret for what has transpired as my only intention was to make a joke. Don’t get irritated. Forgive me” through his post.
