Bhagyaraj’s First Reaction After The Release Of SARKAR !! Watch Video !!

Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar is the hottest news in the country right now. The film has been running into controversy after controversy even before its release. Sarkar broke the box office records right on day 2 when it crossed Rs. 100 crores. The film has now collected Rs. 150 crores worldwide beating the lifetime collections of Vijay’s Theri. Trade experts are predicting a lot more by the end of this weekend. Film analyst, Kaushik, posted on his Twitter, “#Sarkar150CR+ WW gross, in just 4 days Crosses Theri’s WW gross & is steadily racing towards the 200 CR mark next. Overseas is giving grt numbers for #ThalapathyVijay as usual, along with TN.. His 3rd 150+.. Vera level! #Sarkar”.

Sarkar has suffered a serious setback, as the South Indian Film Writers’ Association (SIFW) has declared that the story of assistant director Varun’s Sengol is similar to Vijay’s Sarkar.

Earlier, Varun had filed a case in Madras High Court seeking a ban on Sarkar. In the complaint, he claimed that AR Murugadoss had stolen his story of Sengol and made Sarkar. He further declared that he registered the story with SIFW in 2007.

The court asked the filmmakers and the South Indian Film Writers’ Association to respond to the complaint before October 30.

Reacting to the court’s directive, the association issued a statement declaring that the stories of Sengol and Sarkar are one and the same. In addition, SIFW said that it would not stop Varun from pursuing the case further.

In an interview K Bhagyaraj, accepted that both the plots are similar. “The main similarity between both the plots are that the vote right of the protagonist being stolen” said the leader of South Indian Film Writer’s association.

Earlier he said ” Murugadoss has to fight only one person that is Varun Rajendran. But I have to earn the enmity of Sun TV in the first place. Secondly, my own son Shanthanu is an ardent fan of Vijay. He will argue with my wife against me. Then I could not face S.A Chandrasekar with a happy face hereafter. Even though I am doing my best to do justice for the post I have given”

“I asked Murugadoss to give credits for Varun Rajendar to A.R Murugadoss as he could not approach with the same story to other heroes because of Vijay’s popularity. If he gives credit to him, it will be useful for Varun in future to approach other producers or heroes but A.R Murugadoss refused to do.” added the Veteran writer, director in the interview.

Now for the first time Bhagyaraj appeared in an interview with Galatta after the release of the film Sarkar. In the video the veteran director said that he did not watched the film yet which is surprising. He says that he expected A.R Murugadoss to call him for the preview show of the film which never happened. The director also shared so many struggles he faced during his film’s release including the problems he faced with censor board.

He also sai that he is disappointed with the Sarkar film crew’s carelessness in keeping Late chief minister Jayalalitha’s name Komalavalli to the antagonist role.
