Director Atlee who is currently directing a film of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, took time and watched his assistant Cibi Chakravarthy’s debut film “Don” and gave his review. The first time filmmaker got emotional on seeing the tweet and replied saying that he feels elated and couldn’t express his happiness through words.

Atlee, after watching the film, said that its an emotional family entertainer and lauded Sivakarthikeyan for his performance. He thanked the star actor for giving opportunity for a debut filmmaker. The Top director said that he got emotionally moved and suggested his former assistant to keep rocking in the same way.

On seeing the tweet, Cibi Chakravarthy who got emotional, called Atlee as his “Guru” and said “Thanks a ton to my guru @Atlee_dir sir your appreciation means a lot to me sir Couldn’t express my happiness through words..Am highly elated sir 🙏”

Along with Sivakarthikeyan, the film “Don” has an ensemble cast including Priyanka Mohan, SJ Suriya, Bala Saravanan, Mirchi Vijay, Sivaangi, Raju Jayamohan, Kaali Venkat, Samuthrakani, Munishkanth and others. Directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, the film was jointly produced by Lyca productions and Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Anirudh has composed music for the film.

The 2 minute 36 seconds long teaser promised an engaging college entertainment with romance, comedy, action and sentiment. Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Mohan who paired up in “Doctor”, were also seen  appearing in school get up in the trailer. SJ Surya’s performance as college dean looked promising in the promotional videos of the film, reviews of which are good. Directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, the film was bankrolled by Lyca productions of Subaskaran.
