While fans were expecting actress Khushbu to play a vital role in the recently released “Varisu” movie of actor Vijay, the actress didn’t make presence throughout the movie. In one of her recent press interactions, the actress asked reporters not to ask her about “Varisu” movie and added that the pictures were clicked while she went to shoot for a different movie near the shooting location of “Varisu”.

The Vamsi directorial that included an ensemble casting of Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Rashmika, Yogi Babu, Shyam, Srikanth, Sangeetha, Samyuktha along with Thalapathy Vijay, was expected to have ” Chinnathambi” fame Khushbu. Even in the audio launch event, actor Vijay thanked her for accepting to do the small role in the film.

Vijay said that he gets reminded about her “Chinna Thambi” movie whenever he sees her and talked about his real life memories that got associated with himself watching the film with his friends and girlfriend in theatre. The actor thanked Khushbu for accepting the small role while delivering his speech in the audio launch event.

Apart from that, a number of pictures of the actress from the sets of “Varisu” did rounds in social media platforms as well. However, the actress’s portion didn’t take place in the final cut of the film it seems.

Now, when press reporters asked her to comment about the same, Khushbu said that she has no connection with the film. “Varisu?? Why are you asking about that film to me?” the actress asked to the press reporters.

“Who said that I acted in that movie?” Khushbu asked and the reporter replied that her photos with “Varisu” team went viral in internet. “Sarath kumar sir and Prabhu sir were in the set. Can’t I go and meet them. A telugu film’s shooting took place nearby and I went for that. I visited “Varisu” set and took pictures” Khushbu further said.

“So, you haven’t acted in the movie??” asked the reporter to which Khushbu replied “I don’t have any kind of connection with that film”

The plot of “Varisu” revolves around a dying father seeking the help of his youngest son to take care of his business reputation. The entire film relies on how the son made his father’s last wishes to come true and reformed his two elder brothers who got detached themselves from the family to pursue what they want.

The film is running successfully in theatres with mixed reviews from the audience. On the work font, actor Vijay is expected to act in the next film of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
