Young and emerging star Ashwin Kumar delivered his first ever stage speech after the controversy that he got into during the release of his debut film “Enna Solla Pogiraai”. The actor took part in the audio launch of his second film “Sembi” directed by “Mynaa” fame Prabhu Solomon. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan took part in the event as a chief guest.

Ashwin, while talking about his experience in acting in the film, became a little bit emotional and almost shed tears. However, he caught hold of his nerves and successfully delivered a speech praising his director, producer and others who provided him the opportunity.

“It is a blessing for me to act in a single film, thanks to my producer, Ravi sir. He produced my first film with so much care and he is the producer of my second film as well. When he asked whether I’m willing to act in the film, I immediately nodded ” Yes” after hearing the name of Prabhu Solomon sir” Ashwin said in the event.

“I asked only one question when I met Prabhu Solomon sir and that is whether he feels “ok” to cast me in it. It’s a boon to do a character in his film” Ashwin further said and thanked the filmmaker for providing him the opportunity to act in his film.

“My travel was bad while I was shooting for this film” Ashwin said and became emotional. However, the actor stopped continuing what he was about to say and Thanked those who attended the event. Further Ashwin expressed his admiration towards Kamal Haasan before concluding his speech.

Ashwin caught into a controversy due to his speech in the audio launch of his debut film “Enna Solla Pogiraai”. The comment made by the actor about dozing off while hearing scripts that he doesn’t like, landed him in huge trouble. Netizens made memes and trolls until the aspiring actor released a video apologizing for his speech in the audio launch.

Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan who is popularly known as “CWC” Ashwin made his debut as hero in Tamil film industry through “Enna Solla Pogiraai”, trailer of which promises a triangular love. In the audio launch event of the film, Ashwin, after seeing his fans, got surprised and made a speech out of excitement.

Starting from rejecting a project that was offered by producer “Trident Arts” Raveendran, Ashwin opened about many incidents that brought him into the stage. He said that the story of “Enna Solla Pogiraai” is the only one which didn’t make him sleep out of the 40 stories he heard and locked the same only because it didn’t put him to sleep. Ashwin concluded his speech asking his fans to “thank” his parents if they think he looks handsome and “thank” himself if they think he acts well.

After his speech became a subject to severe trolls and memes, Ashwin released a video saying that the incident made a huge impact in him. The “CWC” fame said that he doesn’t have a habit of preparing before speeches and made his apology to those who got hurt through his speech.
