Creative producer of AGS Entertainments, Archana Kalpathi posted an emotional tweet yesterday, in a way of celebrating the 100 days theatrical run of her movie Bigil. She thanked the fans of actor Vijay from all over the world for making it happen. She even declared that Bigil is the highest grossing, maximum trending and record making film of the year 2019.

“Bigil will complete 100 days in the box office this week. Could not have happened without the support of our #Thalapathy’s fans all around the world. Bigil which was released for the Diwali festival in 2019, is widely believed that it is made on a budget of 180 crores. The ensemble cast of the film attracted wide audience to the theatres and the fans of the actor are believing that it collected 300 crores in the box office. Having actor Vijay in double action, the film had a bunch of high profile stars in supporting roles such as Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj, Jackie Sheroff, Daniel Balaji, Kathir, Amritha Aiyer, Vivek, Indhuja Ravinchandran, Varsha Bollamma, Rebecca John etc.

However majority number of followers of Tamil cinema who couldn’t believe that the film had 100 days run at box office, started trolling the tweet of Archana Kalpathi. It is notable that the film was telecasted in Sun tv on January 15 as a Pongal special film. According to few fans, the film is currently getting screened in only one screen which belongs to Archana Kalpathi herself in Maduravoyal.
