Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy, is one of the biggest multi-starrers to come out of Indian cinema. From Amitabh Bachchan to Vijay Sethupathi and Kichcha Sudeep, the film features these stars in some really interesting characters.

The Khaidi No 150 actor will be seen playing Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Not long ago, the 63-year-old star had said it has been his long-time desire to play a historic character. Narasimha Reddy was the fearless inspiration behind one of India’s many rebellions against the British.

Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing Chiranjeevi’s mentor in the film. Amitabh’s character will be the guiding force and guru behind Narasimha Reddy’s freedom struggle. Actor Nayanthara plays Chiranjeevi’s wife in the film. She embodies selflessness and pure love in Narasimha Reddy’s world.

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi who plays the role of Raja Paandi is doing a character of Chiranjeevi’s confidante in the movie. He plays the ferocious fighter and soul of Sye Raa’s army. Tamannah also doing an interesting role in the movie after making her appearance in Bahubali movie.

Now, to our surprise, Ram Charan, producer of Sye Raa in the audio launch has revealed that legendary actor of Indian cinema industry, Kamal Haasan also joined the crew of the film. Kamal Haasan is now busy in shooting for Shankar’s Indian 2 movie and also planning for his own directorial Thalaivan Irukkindraan.

Later, Ram Charan also revealed on how ace actor Aravind Swamy got on board in the project of Sye Raa. For the uninitiated, Aravind Swamy has lent his voice for Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the Tamil version of Sye Raa. Ram, while talking about it, said that Aravind was very angry initially for not providing him any role in the movie.

“He came to my home in Hyderabad angrily and asked me about me producing Sye Raa. He asked me why I didn’t cast him for any of the role in the movie.” said Ram charan in the press meet. Aravind swami then asked Ram Charan about calling Vijay Sethupathi alone to do a role but not him. Ram Charan convinced Aravind Swamy by saying that it is director’s decision.

“The he asked me about what’s next. When I said that the shoot was done already, Aravind sir offered to dub for Dad’s voice. When I hesitated how to tell it to dad, Aravind sir started showing the films he dubbed for Shah Rukh Khan and for Mani Ratnam films. When I inquired about the videos he shown me, he said that he is selling himself to dub for Dad’s voice which was a huge honour to me. He went back to Chennai and finished dubbing in 2 days and asked me to check it for one last time and I refused to do as I was very much happy that Aravind sir did it. That’s how great personalities work without ego.” lauded Ram Charan.
