Singer Jonita Gandhi who rose fame among the mainstream audience after appearing the lyric videos of Anirudh Ravichander’s “Chellamma Chellamma” from “Doctor” and “Arabic Kuthu” from “Beast” is going to debut as heroine through a film named “Walking/Talking Strawberry Ice cream” which is being produced by Vignesh Shivan under his banner “Rowdy Pictures”. Krishnakumar Balasubramaniam who played the role of “Chay” in Suriya’s “Soorarai Pottru” is going to play male lead in he film.

Ever since “Arabic Kuthu” released in youtube, Fans are simping over Jonita Gandhi who appeared in “Arabic” attire along with music director Anirudh Ravichander. She also appeared in “Chellamma Chellamma” song previously. On seeing a glimpse of her in the song, among the many fans who dropped hears for her, few even stated that he looks of Jonita is more appealing comparing to Pooja Hegde who shook legs with Thalapathy Vijay as female lead in the song.

Now, it has been reported that Jonita is going to make her official onscreen debut through a film named “Walking/Talking Strawberry ice cream”. The film is going to be jointly bankrolled by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara under their production banner “Rowdy pictures”. “Soorarai Pottru” fame Krishna kumar who played the role of Chay in the film is going to play the male lead in the film.

Touted to be a romantic love story, the film is going to mark the directorial debut of Vinayak V. The film’s production was started last year and is currently under production.
