Aparna, wife of Bigg Boss participant Abhinay landed in huge trouble after allegedly cheating Rs. 5 Lakh from a woman, in the pretext of getting medical seat to her daughter. The complainant alleged that Aparna and her friend Ajay provided her a fake certificate and cheated Rs. 5 lakh from her as a result of which Police booked cases under relevant sections and are currently searching for her.

It all started after the complainant named Manju who is working as a fashion designer for Television artists and hosts, sought the help of Aparna to get her daughter a medical seat. Aparna who is living at Arcot road of Mambalam, Chennai, is a mother of two girl children.

Manju was also involve in designing clothes for Aparna’s textile shop. Knowing that Aparna’s husband Abhinay, one of the participants of Bigg Boss show, is a grandson of Veteran actor Gemini Ganesan, Manju was sharing a respectful relationship with the family, according to reports.

Last year, one of Manju’s daughters completed 12th standard and also cleared NEET entrance exam which is required to get a medical seat. Despite, clearing NEET exam, the Mother and daughter duo were pretty much upset over not getting a seat from their favourite medical college. On knowing about these details, Aparna promised Manju to get her daughter a seat in that particular college, saying that she knows a person in that college. For that, Aparna demanded Rs. 20 lakh from Manju.

“You should directly deposit the amount to the bank account of my friend as he is referring us. We are going through referral. If you deposit Rs. 5 lakh now, a seat will be blocked for us. Remaining amount of Rs. 15 lakh should be only paid in cash” Aparna could be heard saying to Manju in a phone call audio which is being widely shared in internet platforms.

During January month, Manju deposited Rs. 5 Lakh in the bank account of Ajay, Aparna’a friend. Five days after getting the money, Aparna sent a fake certificate to Manju through WhatsApp, saying that they got the medical certificate. When Manju went to the medical college to get her daughter joined, the management informed the former that the certificate is a fake one.

On realizing that she got cheated, Manju went to the textile shop of Aparna and asked her money back. In reply, Aparna said that the money was deposited in her friend’s account and asked Manju to get it from him directly. After a point, Aparna closed her shop and got absconded, says reports.

Manju went on to file a police compliant in Mambalam Police Station. As a result, Police have filed cases under 6 sections of Indian Penal Code against Aparna and her friend Ajay. The 6 sections involves cheating and creating fake documents, according to reports. Further investigation on the case is currently on and Police officials are searching to nab the accused.
