Lingesh who worked with Anandha Kannan during his sun music times, broke down in tears while paying condolences to the latter. LIngesh is currently involved in acting films and is very wekk known for the role he played in Pa. Ranjith’s “Kabali”. In the recent video that surfaced, Lingesh could be seen sharing his memories with Anandha Kannan and sheds tears remembering him.

Many anchors, actors and people who belong to Tamil film industry expressed their condolences for the demise of the former Sun music anchor. Director cum producer Mano bala, National award winning filmmaker Cheran, Venkat Prabhu of “Mankatha” fame, Rio Raj, Anjana and many others expressed their emotions over the loss of Kannan’s family through tweets and posts.

Anandha Kannan, one of the popular anchors of Sun network’s prominent music channel Sun music during early mid 2000s, passed away after fighting for his life with a rare “Bile Duct Cancer”. The 48 year old who started his career as a Television anchor, tried acting in films as well. He was getting treatment at the Apollo hospital that is located in Trichy.

After gaining a separate fan base through his anchoring skills, Kannan also acted in serials and films. He who made a cameo in Venkat Prabhu’s “Saroja”, acted in films such as “Ithanai Naalai Engirunthai”, “Athisaya Ulagam” etc. Reports suggests that he acted as a brand ambassador for Naturals Spa & Salon, owner of which updated about his health issue 10 days ago.

Now, a video of actor Lingesh of “Kabali”, “Madras” shared his memories with Ananda Kannan and broke down emotional, infront of people who are closely associated with Ananda Kannan. First look of Lingesh’s debut film “College Road” launched on Thursday and Lingesh said that the entire film industry is wishing him but he couldn’t celebrate moment with his whole hear due to the absence of Anandha Kannan.

Lingesh regretted for not being with Kannan during his final moments and shared about the bonding they shared all these years. “He never saw anyone as his enemy. If he finds someone as his enemy, he would easily make them as his friend.” said Lingesh and shared about many other moments of themselves together. “Once I turned down his invite and said that my job is acting, not anchoring. We didn’t speak for few years after that due to my behaviour that day” Lingesh shared.

Lingesh said that they both had plans for the future. The actor felt extremely bad for not being with him during his final days. “He is the one who bought me clothes from Global show room. He would have struggled a lot. Thinking that none of us supported him, it makes me feel why we are alive” Lingesh said with shivering voice. Video of Prajin who also worked Kannan, getting emotional got released. He also shared the fond memories of themselves together.

One of the former anchors of Sun music shared about the last wish of Anand Kannan before leaving the world. He shared about what Ananda Kannan’s wife said to Sindhu, her friend. “She (Ananda Kannan’s wife) was so strong and greeted everybody with smile. She said that Kannan knew his end. He wanted his death to be a celebration. I want everyone to wear white clothes. He also wanted everyone to wear “Thalappaa”.He wanted his last journey with people playing folk music. It all happened as his wish in a funeral area at Singapore” said the former anchor.
