Actor Amala Paul, in a shocking statement, has revealed that she was thrown out of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming Tamil film, dubbed as VSP33, because she was not “production-friendly”. Amala’s statement comes a day after the makers of VSP33 said that she opted out of the film citing date issues with her other projects. Megha Akash was signed as her replacement.

“I am writing out of my great disappointment, as I have been thrown of an ongoing movie, tentatively titled VSP33, stating a simple statement by the production that I am not production-friendly. This statement has put me in great introspection whether I have been supportive or unsupportive to the production houses in my career,” Amala said.

Megha Akash who replaced Amala is thrilled to have bagged another big opportunity in her career after Petta and Vantha Rajavathan Varuven. She will be joining the team in Ooty on Tuesday.

The latest tweet of Amala Paul alleged that the makers have made the decision after seeing the teaser of “AADAI”. She stated a number of instances where she made decisions in favour pf the production houses in the past. The actress also said that they haven’t informed the actress before making the decision.

After seeing this post, Vishnu Vishal, the actor who acted with Amala Paul in the movie Ratchasan has expressed his emotions. He shared how he treated by the producers in film industry. In his tweet he wrote “Happy to see an actor speak up…Numerous times it so happens that actors are the ones who are at ‘fault’ by ‘default’ …Ive been tempted so many times to share how badly i was treated by a number of producers but then v still giv them the respect as a ‘Modhalaali’ :)”

In a following tweet he wrote “But like the coin has two sides , so does cinema…Ive workd with some really good n wonderful producers as well:)But its high time we speak up against the injustice done to us actors as well , emotionally n proffessionally n physically :)🙏”

The actress in her statement posted a message for Vijay Sethupathi as well.  “No harm is intended to you Vijay Sethupathi. I am a huge fan and I was excitedly looking forward to be working with you. This is a statement written out of my grave disappointment and to address the rumours that are being spread around by Chandaraa Productions about my unprofessional conduct,” she concluded her statement.
