Ajith Kumar is mourning the loss of his father, PS Mani, who passed away at his Chennai home on March 24 at the age of 85. The family issued a statement confirming the sad news and requesting privacy during this difficult time.

The family said that it is with a heavy heart that they announce the passing of their  beloved father, P.S. Mani. He peacefully departed in his sleep early this morning after a long illness, they said through their post by adding that he was 85 years old.

They were incredibly grateful for the care and support provided to him by numerous medical professionals, particularly during the last four years following his debilitating stroke. They extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who provided comfort and care during his final days.

While the family  mourn the loss of their dear father, They were also comforted by the fact that he lived a fulfilling life, filled with love and joy. Ajith’s parents shared a partnership of nearly six decades, and They take solace in knowing that he knew the undying love of our mother until the very end.

They were grateful for the outpouring of kind and comforting messages and condolences that have been coming in from all those who knew and loved our father. However, The family kindly ask for our understanding during this difficult time as they may not be able to respond to messages and calls promptly.

They will be holding a private family gathering to bid farewell to their father and to celebrate his life. They hope that all those who have experienced loss will respect their wishes to grieve in private and to deal with his passing with the utmost equanimity and dignity.

Ajith Kumar, a leading actor in the Tamil film industry, is currently mourning the loss of his father, Subramaniam. According to reports, Subramaniam had been suffering from ill health since 2020 and had been undergoing treatment for the past three years.
