Aishwarya Rajinikanth got infected with the COVID 19 virus and informed her friends and followers about the same through her official Instagram handle. This was her first post after announcing her separation with actor Dhanush. In her post, Aishwarya asked year 2022 to bring whatever it as on store for her, hinting about the divorce announcement she made few days back. Many celebrities including Gitanjali Selvaraghavan, Actress Rekha, Divya Sathyaraj wished for Aishwarya to get well soon.

Being an eldest daughter of Super star Rajinikanth, Aishwarya started her career as a filmmaker by directing “3” by having her husband Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. She went on to make a film named “Vai Raaja Vai” which had Dhanush in an important cameo role. She also worked as an assistant director to Selvaraghavan in “Aayirathil Oruvan” and lent her voice for Reema sen in the film.

On 17th of January, Aishwarya announced that she is going to get separated from her husband after 18 years of marriage. Now, few days after the announcement, Aishwarya whose Instagram handle name is still Aishwarya R Dhanush, made it public that got infected with the COVID 19 virus, despite of taking all the precautions.

Uploading a selfie picture of herself being admitted in hospital, the dancer cum filmmaker said “Tested positive even after all precautions…got admitted ..please mask up get vaccinated and be safe … bring it on 2022! We’ll see what more is that you have in store for me !!” through her post.

In her last Instagram post which is about her separation with actor Dhanush, Aishwarya said “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate.. Dhanush and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better” Aishwarya said in her post.
