In an interview with director cum movie journalist, famous film distributor Thiruppur Subramaniyam made a strong statement saying that it is actor Sivakarthikeyan is the one who is having strong opening after Vijay and Ajith. He said that seniors actors like Suriya, Dhanush, Simbu, Vikram comes only after him as far as opening of a film is considered.

Sivakarthikeyan who gave back to back successes such as “Doctor” and “Don”, is awaiting for the release of ” Prince” directed by Jathi Rathnalu fame Anudeep. The film is slated to release marking the special occasion of Diwali, competing with Karthi’s “Sardar”.

Ahead of the Diwali releases, famous movie distributor Thiruppur Subramanyam interacted with one of the senior personalities of Tamil film industry Chithra Lakshman. Throughout his interaction, Thiruppur Subramaniyam opened about the fall of small budget movies nowadays and about how the films of Tamil cinema heros are performing at the box office.

“Let’s leave Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan behind. They reached all the height and are acting now just to avoid going jobless. Among all the other heroes, I would rank actor Vijay at the first spot. Though Ajith has similar fan base, Vijay deserves to be in the first place” the distributor said.

“I would name the audience of Vijay as all class audience. Considering the revenue, Vijay and Ajith both are equal. But, the third spot belongs only to Sivakarthikeyan. I can challenge and I have seen the opening of all the heroes” he further added.

“If you release the movies of all the 8 artists except Vijay and Ajith for a Diwali festivel, Sivakarthikeyan’s movie will definitely collect the highest. His films became flops too due to poor content. For example, Seemaraja had an excellent opening but failed to take off due to the uninteresting content ” the film distributor said.
