The highly anticipated trailer of Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni, Fahadh Faasil and Ramya Krishnan starrer Super Deluxe was released recently. Going by the first impression of the visuals, it is a film that assures to take audiences on a psychedelic trip and it is going to be a lot of fun. The trailer starts off with Vijay Sethupathi’s voice-over and his introduction as transperson Shilpa.

The trailer takes more than a few viewings to really understand its essence. This is exactly what makes it exciting because never has a film’s trailer appeared so intriguing.

Thiagarajan Kumaraja is only one film old in Kollywood, yet he is one of the most respected filmmakers in the industry. His debut film Aaranya Kaandam broke the grammar of Tamil cinema and is regarded as one of the best movies ever made in Kollywood.

Now, after a decade, his second film Super Deluxe is all set to hit the theatres on March 29. On February 22, the makers unveiled the trailer of the film and it is mind-blowing.

The trailer is abstract, raw and intense and makes you want to know more about the film. Thiagarajan is clever enough not to reveal any plot point and yet keeps the audience curious about the film.

Now nearly after 2 weeks of the trailer’s release time , Bollywood director Anushag Kashyap shared it in his twitter timeline and also regrets for missing the opportunity of being a part of this movie which was offered by Thyagaraja Kumararaja earlier.

Anurag Kashyap is one of the most intelligent filmmakers as far the whole country is concerned. He is known for movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, Raman Raghav. His collaboration with Nawazudding Sidduique is highly acclaimed and they are known as the best Director- actor combination of Indian cinema as of today.

Anurag was known among the Tamil audience for his appearance in “Imaikka Nodigal” where he played the antagonist role. His performance in the movie attracted a huge number of audience and they also wish to see him in the upcoming flicks.

About the Super Deluxe trailer the director wrote “I had a chance to be part of this film and I regret to have missed the chance . Director @itisthatis super awesome trailer of “Super Deluxe” is here.”

Anurag also revealed that he is not offered for an onscreen role but Thyagarja Kumararaja approached him to write one of the stories for him. The director said it to a fan who wished him to see in Tamil movies again as  an actor.

It is the first time in Kollywood that four directors have joined hands for a project and it’ll be really interesting to see what will come out of this collaboration. The writers of the movie includes Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy, Neelan.K.Sekar and Thyagaraja Kumararaja.
