While a section of people including celebrities got impressed with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s photoshoot, many others didn’t seem to be impress much. They got very much disturbed to an extend a police complaint was made against the Hindi speaking actor. Now, a video that has been doing rounds in the internet, shows a group of people organizing a cloth donation drive for Ranveer singh. The text along Singh’s pic reads, “Mere swacchh Indore ne thana hai, desh se maansik kachra bhi hatana hai (my clean city has vowed to clean up mental waste from the country as well)”.

The viral video shows a bunch of people donating their clothes in a box of sorts which is placed on a table. The box features Ranveer Singh’s picture from the photoshoot. “Clothes donation drive held for Ranvir Singh in Indore” a social media user sad while sharing the video.

The video garnered 500 k plus views with 26k likes and thousand other shares. Ever since Bollywood star Ranveer singh came up with a series of pictures of himself not wearing clothes in his Instagram handle, he has been grabbing the headlines for various reasons. The actor’s pictures from a recent magazine cover shoot have prompted mixed reactions with some praising Ranveer Singh for breaking the internet with bold avatar, while others questioning the need to “bare it all”.

The photoshoot of Ranveer was conducted for the magazine named “Paper”. In his first interview in three years, Ranveer said he did not care about being judged for his choices. Adding the pictures in his timeline, Ranveer tagged paper magazine. Along with fans, several celebrities has been reacting to the controversial photoshoot of Ranveer Singh. With many heroines expressing their awe, Deepika Padukone, wife of the cheeky actor, was well aware of the entire concept of the photoshoot and was very much supportive to her husband.

Recently, Mumbai Police registered an FIR against the actor for hurting the sentiments of women. The complaint applications were submitted separately at the Chembur Police station by an office bearer of a Non-governmental Organisation and a woman lawyer.

The NGO office bearer stated the actor has hurt the sentiments of women in general and insulted their modesty through his photographs. The application filed by the lawyer also demanded a case against the actor on the charge of intent to outrage the modesty of women.

base on the complaints, on Tuesday, Ranveer Singh has been booked under sections 509, 292 and 294 of the India Penal code and Section 67 A of the IT act in the chembur Police station.
