After Freedom 251, here is another attempt of offering a cheap phone and yes, this time, it is extremely cheap. Now, ‘Namotel’, a Bengaluru based company is marketing another smartphone named ‘Namotel Acche Din’ at a price as low as Rs 99.

At a Press Conference, Madhav Reddy, the promoter of the company stated that the smartphone is available for pre-booking from the 17th of May to the 25th of May on ‘namotel.com’, the website of the company. However, as per reports, the website didn’t open when people tried booking the smartphone.

How to book?

1) Buyers have to register on the website bemybanker.com and get the ID and Password, which would be needed for booking the phone on namotel.com.
2) A 1-time membership fee of Rs 199 has to be paid on bemybanker.com.

Reports say that even bemybanker showed a database error while people tried accessing it.

Know the specifications!

Well, this Namotel Acche Din boasts of a 4-inch display and runs on the platform Android 5.1 Lollipop. Moreover, it is powered by a 1 GB RAM and consists of 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card. It also has a 2MP camera at the back along with a VGA front shooter. Talking about connectivity, the phone includes 3G too.

What does the website show?

The website namotel.com shows that the price is reduced from Rs 2,999 to Rs 99 and that the phone can be availed on cash-on delivery basis. Moreover, the company says that normal delivery charges are applicable.
