Actress Pooja Umashankar who predominantly appeared in Tamil films, interacted with a number of twitter users on Friday and impressed the micro blogging social media site users with her candid replies. To a fan who asked her to give comeback, Pooja said that she got aged and will be having to do “Chithi” roles.

It all started after a user named Karthik Swaminathan uploaded four pictures of Pooja and added the tagline of recently released blockbuster movie “Vikram”, “Once Upon A Time There Lived A Ghost” in a way of remembering the actress. The post garnered wide reach with many fans lauding the performances of the actress.

Replying to him, Pooja said that she is not active in Twitter these days and thanked everyone who expressed their love for her through commenting for the post. The actress said that her friend Senthil sent her the tweet link as a result of which she got an opportunity to thank everyone.

Pooja Umashankar debuted through “Jay Jay” as a second heroine and shared screen space with actor Madhavan in the movie. After that, she went on to act in films such as “Attakasam” of Ajith Kumar, “Ullam Ketkume”, “Jithan”, ” Pattiyal” and many other movies. Some of the notable works of the actress includes “Naan Kadavul”, “Oram Po”, ” Vidiyum Munn” and many other films.

In Tamil, She was last seen in a film named “Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi” which was released in the year 2015. After that Pooja worked in a couple of Sinhalese movies and didn’t appear in front of camera ever since. On Friday, a twitter user came up with four pictures of Pooja from different movies of her and wrote “once up on a time there lived a ghost ” as his caption.

The post went past 3k plus likes and 300 plus shares as of now and grabbed the attention of the actress herself through a friend.
