Actress Kasthuri who is expressing her political and social views through her official twitter account for quite a few days, recently posted a tweet lauding Dr.Vijayakanth for coming forward to help people affected by the deadly coronavirus. He won the hearts of million people by providing place to bury the mortal remains of people dying from the COVID 19 at the premises of his Aandal Azhagar college situated in the outskirts of Chennai. His announcement surfaced soon after the news on a Doctor who went to crematorium to bury his colleague, brutally attacked by a mob of 21 members. They attacked the doctor and his accomplices in the fear of getting infected by the Coronavirus which is spreading faster day by day.

Many celebrities and political icons lauded this gesture of the politician with their whole heart. Actress Kasthuri also appreciated him through one of her tweet writing “Sir you are always an inspiration . A true leader and most genuine soul.” and asked her followers to read his press release.

While appreciating Vijayakanth, the actress posted another tweet taking an indirect dig at Kamal Haasan, president of Makkal Needhi Maiam. Kamal Haasan, recently grabbed the headlines for writing a 3 page long letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kamal criticized his government by terming them as “Balcony Government” which works only for Balcony people. This letter of the actor/politician gained nationwide attention. In a way of criticizing his letter, Kasthuri said that Vijayakanth has released a clear report amidst people who are releasing reports in several pages. “He didn’t just talk but proved himself through his deed. That kind heart which thought of providing a property immediately. He is a true leader.” wrote Kathuri in her tweet and worried about the health state of Captain.

This tweet from actress irked the fans of followers of Kamal Haasan who stormed into the comment section to school her. “He is the first one to request government to use his house as hospital.
