Actress Kaniha, during a question and answer session she conducted with her Instagram followers, replied to a fan who asked her to share about the question she will ask cinema journalist cum actor Bayilvaan Ranganaathan who talked ill about the actress’s character in one of his videos.  Kaniha said that she will ask him to validate facts before making a show out of it and also said that Bull shit may sell and make headlines but one should have a conscience.

Months ago, Actress Kaniha of “Varalaru”, “Five Star” fame called out cinema journalist Bayilwaan Ranganathan for the lewd comments he made against her in one of his videos through youtube platform. On seeing his comments, Kaniha asked how could she make a report against him and said that everything he says about all the actresses is Fake, derogatory and disrespectful. Kaniha said that she is someone who doesn’t react to third rate journalism but the video of Ranganathan makes her sick to her stomach.

The actress also wondered about the amount of subscribers he enjoys for his youtube channel and hoped to take down the video and his channel soon. In the 22 minute long youtube video, Bayilvaan Ranganathan named the actresses who allegedly “expose” their body parts to gain movie opportunities. His baseless statements against actresses such as Rashmika Mandanna, Andrea Jeremiah, Amala Paul, Ritika Singh, Tamanna, Samantha, Vani Bhojan and others landed him in huge trouble as Kaniha, one of the actresses he named in his video called out through her official social media handle.

While talking about Kaniha, Bayilvaan Ranganathan said that Kaniha who paired with Ajith in “Varalaaru”, got married, went abroad, lived with her husband and divorced him. “Now, after returning to Chennai, she has been uploading pictures by exposing her body parts” Ranganathan said in his video which was uploaded on 26th of November, 2021.

The video caught the attention of Kaniha herself who uploaded a series of stories in her Instagram handle, calling out the cinema journalist. “WTF ? How do I report this person ? He has a full fledged show on Youtube !!” she asked by attaching his video.

“Everything he says about all the actresses is Fake, derogatory and disrespectful. How do I report this false journalism ?” She asked and went on to write “You all know that I usually never react, I have learnt not to react. I have learnt the act of ignoring third rate journalism. But this guy makes me sick to the stomach”

“Everything he says about all the women in the film industry, throwing tem in bad light is very wrong. What baffles me is that he has subscribers, people who believe whatever shit he says who also comment in affirmation. Times like these make me wanna thank my own access to social media. For you all to know what’s real and what not” read her story.

I am always grateful for all your love and support” she added. In her next story, Kaniha said “Thank you for all the support and guidance. We will soon be taking down that video and the channel. Small ripples that we create, will one day create a big tide and wipe out these third rate people”

On Monday, Kaniha conducted a question and answer session with her followers and one of them asked her, writing “If Bailwan Ranganathan in front of you, what you ask or say to him ? Akka” to which Kaniha replied with a dignified answer.

“Please validate facts before making a show out of it. Bullshit may sell and make headlines but have a conscience” read her reply.
