However, netizens slammed the journalist for his misogynistic question as a result of which actress Neha came up with a tweet from her official twitter handle, calling out the toxic journalist. In the trailer of “DJ Tillu”, a sequence showed Tillu (played by Siddhu) asking Radhika (played by Neha) how many moles she has on her body and the latter could be seen answering “sixteen”.
Watch the trailer below :
Based on the sequence, while Siddhu Jonnalagadda was taking questions from the reporters, a reporter asked the actor if he has also counted the number of moles on his co-star Neha Shetty’s body. Siddhu who looked uncomfortable, said “I think I will avoid the question sir”

Meanwhile the actress was seen smiling politely and looked confused, presumably because she doesn’t understand Telugu language. Here’s the video which is going rounds in social media platforms with netizens condemning the reporter :

The clip became viral with many of the online users calling out the reporter for his sexist remark. Neha Shetty, reacted to the incident through her official twitter handle, saying “This question was very unfortunate at the trailer launch today. But I must go on to add that it simply simplifies the respect he has for himself and for the women force around him at his work place and at home” to call out the reporter.

Check out some of the reactions her tweet received :
Neha, I am sorry you had to be put through something as disrespectful as this.
Women are often told to feel grateful about the progressive changes being made around them… but sadly this is the reality of the matter. What really should we feel grateful for again? https://t.co/Df7ZptffRo

Fans lauded both the actors for handling the issue in a sensible way. However, a huge question was raised about how working women are being seen at their work place. Producer Naga Vamsi apologized to the actress for what happened by writing “sorry neha that was really unfortunate…”
