Actor Srikanth, who is known for his role in Nanban, found his name missing from the voters’ list. But the actor was allowed by the officers in Saligramam to have ink in his finger since he had a voter’s ID. Later, the actor realised that he was supposed to vote in a different booth, which was in Valluvar Kottam.

On the election day the actor posted a tweet along with his wife saying “We voted Today Morning at Saligramam Kavery School :-)”

According to Puthiya Thalaimurai Actor Srikanth only had ink in his finger but did not vote. This made the twitter users to troll actor Srikanth and Election commision for being lethargic in a nationally concerned matter.

During the election day supporting actor Ramesh Kanna also posted a video alleging that his name was not in voter’s list.

“Is it my fault that my name missed out in the voters list ?? I do have my voter ID and voted for 4 to 5 times in this same booth. As i am leaving to Nagercoil today, I made by presence at 6 o clock in the morning. After making me wait for 1 hour they searched and said that my name was not in the voters list. Like in Sarkar movie, Do I have to make an issue out of this??” the actor asked in the video.

Robo Shankar also one of the Tamil celebrities whose name was missed from the voters’ list. However, they were not allowed to vote.
