Actor lost opportunities on cinema due to adjustments issue. Ravi Kishan, the veteran Bollywood actor and Member of Parliament, has opened up about his early days of struggle in the film industry, including a casting couch encounter. Kishan, who has worked in Bhojpuri, Hindi, and Telugu cinema, spoke candidly about his experience at Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat.

The actor revealed that he was propositioned in exchange for a chance to act in movies, which he managed to escape from. He added that such incidents were common in the film industry and that his father had taught him to approach his work with honesty. “I never wanted to take a shortcut. I knew I was talented,” said Kishan.

However, when probed further about the details of what had transpired, Kishan declined to name the person who had approached him, citing her current stature in the industry. He recounted that the person had invited him over for coffee at night, to which he declined, citing that coffee was a drink preferred during the day.
