During a promotional event for his upcoming film “RRR”, Director SS Rajamouli opened about the interaction he had with Tamil Super star Ajith kumar during the shooting of the Junior NTR-Ram Charan starrer and expressed his admiration over Ajith’s recent announcement about not wanting to be called as “Thala” by his fans, public or media.

Junior NTR, Ram Charan Teja and SS Rajamouli are busy promoting their upcoming film “RRR” which is going to be released across the country. They took part in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss show to promote the film in Hindi region and also did a show for Vijay Television to reach the Tamil audience. The film crew also conducted a press meet in Chennai lately.

While interacting with DD in a show, Rajamouli was asked to tell about actor Ajith kumar. “I met him at Ramoji film city once. There is a huge restaurant. I went to the restaurant and not many people were there. He was sitting in one of the tables and having lunch. He was eating and got up as soon as seeing me. He came to me and asked “How are you, sir ?” and all” SS Rajamouli said in the interaction.

“He took me there and made me in his table and we were chatting. Suddenly my wife came in to the hotel. When I was about to ask her to come, Ajith asked “your wife ?” and I said “Yes”. He again stood up, went up and introduced himself to her saying “I am Ajith, sir”. It shows how down to earth he is” he further said and went on to expression over the recent decision e made.

“One thing I really really admire about him is the recent thing he did. Crores of fans he has, everyone going mad calling him “Thala”, Thala”, “Thala”. He said remove that “Thala”, I am Ajith, Ajith kumar, AK that’s it. Hats off to him for that” the Bahubali director said.

When junior NTR was asked to tell something about actor Vijay, the Telugu Super star said that he admires how he stays normal even after gaining such stardom. He also opened about his phone call interaction with Vijay after “Master” and expressed his admiration over the actor’s dance.
