On seeing the news of theatres getting re-opened from the 15th of October with 50% of occupancy, Abhishek Bachchan, son of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and husband of former miss world Aishwarya Rai, expressed his happiness through a tweet. For the happy tweet, the actor received severe criticisms from the users of Twitter. The actor’s humble replies to a number of criticisms, won the hearts of his followers. They lauded the 44 year old and said that the man is showing “class” in the way he replies to the mean comments.

On seeing this tweet, a followed, in a way mocking Bachan, said that he is going to remain jobless even if the theatre opens. Unlike other celebrities, without losing his nerves, Abhishek replied to the by saying that it depends on the reception of audience.

Followed by this, another twitter user asked how Abishek managed to get movies after 2008 film Drona which was a disaster at the box office. The reply Abhishek gave to this comment is still being lauded by his colleagues and fans.

The actor politely said that he got dropped from few films and found it difficult to get casted. “But we live in hope and keep trying, hoping and working towards our goals. You have to get up everyday and fight for your place under the sun. Nothing in life comes easy.” he said.

Another follower asked why he feels happy now after asking people to “stay home and stay safe” when he got infected with the COVID 19 virus. Replying to that comment, Abhishek said that it was 7 weeks ago and added that things were changed. “Yes. I tested positive 7 weeks ago. Much has changed in the meantime. We still have to be very careful and disciplined. The govt. has decided to partially open theatres after over 6 months keeping all safety and standard SOP’s in mind.” the Ravanan actor’s reply read.
