Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who is currently playing for Rajasthan Royals, recalled about a traumatic experience he went through  during the year 2013 while he was playing for Mumbai Indians team. The spinner said that a drunk Mumbai player almost pushed him from 15th floor during a post match get-together. The cricketer said that he realized how important life is after that incident.

Before representing Royal Challenges Bangalore, Yuzvendra Chahal was playing for Mumbai Indians and the incident he narrated happened during the 6th edition of Indian Premier League. In a conversation with his new team players Ravichandran Ashwin and Karun nair, Chahal opened about how a drunken MI player had him hanging from the 15 th floor if their hotel building.

“I never told this story. From today everyone will know it. I never shared this” Yuzvendra Chahal began to tell about it. “This dates back to 2011 when I was with Mumbai Indians, we had a match in Bangalore. There was a get together party after that” the cricketer said.

“So there was a player who was very drunk. I won’t say his name. He was very drunk and was looking at me for a long time and he just called me and took me outside and hung me on the balcony and my hands were like this” said Chahal gesturing that he was tightly holding him.

“Had I lost my grip, we were on the 15th floor. Suddenly, many people who are there came and handled the situation. I kind of got fainted and they gave me some water to drink at that time. Then I realized how responsible we need to be when we go anywhere” Yuzi said.

“So this was one incident where I felt made a narrow escape. Had there been slightest of mistakes, I would have fallen down” Chahal further said.

As soon as the report emerged on Yuzi’s statement, netizens couldn’t keep calm as they started assuming which Mumbai Indians player could have caused such trauma to Yuzi chahal.
