In the pretext of seeking “peace” and “stability”, a man from Saudi Arabia got married for 53 times in his lifetime which spans for 63 years as of now. According to Gulf News, the man has been switching wives throughout his life in order to “find a woman who could make him happy”. He is being called as the “Polygamist” of the century.

The man claimed that he tried to be fair to al his wives. Narrating about his story, he reportedly said “When I got married for the first time, I did not plan to marry more than one woman because I was feelin comfortable and had children” to the media.

Identified as Abu Abdullah, the man said that he started facing “certain” problems due to which he decided to marry again at the age of 23. The man said that several issues erupted between him and his wives and it prompted him to marry again. “I married 53 women over long periods. The first was when I was 20 years and she was six years older than me” he reportedly said.

Further, Abdullah said that his shortest spell of marriage was a one-night event. He further added that most of his marriages took place with Saudi women. He also happened to marry foreigners during his overseas business trips. “I used to stay for three to four months. So I married to protect myself from vice” Abdullah said.

However, as of now, the polygamist is married to one woman and he is not planning to get married again. “Every man in the world wishes to have one woman and remain with her forever. Stability is not to be found with a young woman but with an old one” he stated.
