As the IPL tournament is progressing in full swing with twists and turns, war between players on online medium has also started. It is very usual for the social media handles of the team involving in online banter with each other during the IPL season but seeing players who are supposed to be busy practicing, being active in Twitter is rare. However, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is doing it with ease as he recently bodied his senior and commentator Akash Chopra who wanted 8 runs for 100 metres sixes.

Chahal who was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore till last season, is currently representing Rajasthan Royals led by Sanju Samson. As soon as joining the team, he took over the twitter handle of the team as admin and pulled a prank for a whole day.
The cricketer who is known for his cheeky online activities, grabbed wide attention after replying to cricketer cum commentator on providing 8 runs to batsmen who hit massive sixes. Akash Chopra who represented team India between late 2003 and late 2004, is currently involved in analysing the game.
On the evening of 3rd April, Akash came with a tweet demanding 8 runs for batsmen who hit sixes that are longer than 100 metres. “100+ metre six should be given an 8. 🤩🥳” read his tweet which went insanely viral in no time.

Unfortunately, his tweet grabbed the attention of India’s one of the leading spinners Yuzvendra Chahal who came up with a counter proposal. The bowler said that one wicket should be provided to three dot balls for the bowlers. “Three dot balls should be 1 wicket bhaiya 👀👀” reply of Chahal read.

Replying back to him, Akash Chopra came up with a solution saying “Three wickets in a spell should allow the bowler to bowl an extra over 😊🤩 also, Imagine someone trying to hit you for a 100-metre six (because it’s an 8), good chance that he’ll lose shape…risk-reward”

Meanwhile, former Indian spinner Amit Mishra came up with a meme template, writing “Bowlers’ condition who have to face heavy bats, short boundaries and field restrictions”
